That'll be RBS as the client and Lorien setting up the MSP then

      Quite.

Which means if clients are thinking this is a way through / around / over the reform, then it just goes to show how little people understand the laws, or how to abide by them.

It'll soon be a case of the blind leading the blind leading the contractors. Blinds 1 and 2 being the HMRC and 'Client' respectively.

If they extend that service offering to 'ad hoc' work done then nope as well.

Devil will be in the details but I've a feeling in a majority of cases it will fall woefully short.

Interesting stuff and hopefully someone being suckled in to this will tell us warts n all.
It'll be a body shop scenario. The project being supported, rather than any specific app or such, is the perpetual never ending technology refresh that I've previously whined about. If I get a call to go back, I'll see how much info I can get (that was the second half of the rumour I heard....)

I am at Barclays, working on, what they say, a critical project. They're still letting me go - there's no in or out IR35. All contractors are going.

Give it a few months and they'll hire you back again

I am not really sure about it. My managers are trying everything, but upper upper management oppose any new contract. Managers know how bad it is, HR departments don't.
