Tier1BK:before making a proposal they want to know exactly my previous/current income

This is the document they asked me to fill: https://ibb.co/ei0xrJ

the header is even mentioning they I do have to provide paperworks as proof of my previous income: https://ibb.co/h1rnrJ

is this regular? one thing is asking proof of my previous jobs, another is asking financial records of my previous professional experience.

I am a bit confused about how to behave. Tips?

"HR interview" sounds like this is a perm role, not exactly the right forum to ask around.

If by any chance it's for a contract - it's up to you to decide whether you are happy to provide the info or not. I have worked for 2 Tier1 UK banks and neither has asked for proof of previous income, the agencies might have asked me about my previous rate, to which I always reply with the advertised rate for the role in question.

I know which bank that is for, and yes I understand the background checks will ask for evidence.

My advice, if you want to accept the contract just fill it out truthfully, otherwise you will probably lose the contract. This is all part of their on-boarding process however annoying that may be.
        I'm alright Jack

Fill each box in "beyond the dreams of avarice"

If they don't like it walk

They want it to ensure that the clients you claim you had were actually paying you and therefore real clients.

I had this at current gig - refused at first and they said fine, they'd just fail the clearance. I'd actually inflated my previous rate to get an increase so was a bit nervous but I heard they just glance at it and check the relevant box.

Isn't your income 8k or 11k per annum?

You haven't seen the linked documents have you...

In any case 8k-11k is likely the salary not the income, your income is what you put in your SATR

Sorry, but as a contractor, your contract should be commercially confidential.
I can't imagine they'd ask the same questions to Dell or HP about how much they charge another bank for servers and consultancy.

You're being treated as a disguised employee imho - they should simply be checking that you were engaged at the previous client from date x to date y as you had stated.

The documents ask for your base salary (or contract rate). So, it's up to you which you supply
