Ignore the usual trolls here like Lance and Northern. They bang on about networking and when a fellow contractor asks on a contractor forum, they come out with pointless guff they are both well known for.

Have you tried contacting anyone at the usual places such as Tesco and RBS? The testing market has been pretty low the last 12 to 18 months with many places looking to fill permie TA roles rather than make them contract.

I always thought it would be good to have a page (not a forum thread - its not really the right medium) where we could post vacancies that we were aware of - not just the usual crap you get on job boards - but when your current client is recruiting.

That said, Im looking for .net development roles in the North West (England) area at the moment if anyone knows of any at their current clients?
