    ^^ WHS.

I would also refuse, it seems all a bit petty to me.

On that basis, it would not surprise me at all if its RBS, they just seem to lose their heads at least twice a year, Christmas and Easter

        A right bloody cheek, IMO.
But if you hadn't done anything you shouldn't have over the 3 weeks, why not just sign it and be done with it ? Just putting it out there like.

          +1

You can work for who you like as long as there is no conflict of interest. You aren't an employee of theirs so they have no legal right to ask you not to work. I would take a paid shift in a pub or similar just to prove that point.

If you or any of the p*ssed of contractors are in IPSE I would be on the legal helpline.

Our three weeks enforced leave has just become zero weeks enforced leave as they have realised how up the creek they are. Apparently it was never enforced leave and we have all
imagined the emails saying no work between 16th Dec and 3rd Jan.

That's a pity I booked a holiday for that time when the emails arrived. I could, however, possibly be persuaded to cancel that holiday if you make it worth my while.....
