gah
Unlucky.
Barclays IB handed out 5% cuts across my department effective July 1 and usually notify us in Oct/Nov of 10 days enforced leave to be taken by the end of the year
I think HSBC are up to 25 days (10 days MBL and 15 extra) as standard for contractors nowComment

They just give notice and change it then. No real breach. Ergos has a page up about this calling them contract breakers. Lemme get it.Originally posted by billybiro View PostSue them for breach of contract.

They did it across the board the 5% cut at renewal time.

HSBC last year on top of the 25 days last minute did another 10 on top in my old area. So 35 overall days off as apparently better than 10%. Heard after I left they were doing 10% cuts across that area too.
Currently am on 10 days per six months at current IB. Not a big deal for me as I like to travel especially at Xmas.
