If you can't get it on 2 then try 3 but no agent is his right mind will read 5 pages. He will make an instant judgement call on it though which won't be in your favour.

They just chop them.

Mine is 5 pages it always was and always will be. It is bulltulip to reduce it to 2 pages as essential information will be missing. I have never ever heard an agent or client complain it was too long.

Could it be that the relevant gigs were in the first 2 pages and no one bothered going through the rest ?

I voted four pages, based on a guess. It's actually five pages (six if I open it in LibreOffice rather than Word).

Next time I need it, I'll probably pay Matt Craven to have a go at it and reformat it - I tried but never finished it, so I've forgotten what the advice was in the first place
