can i directly contact client for feedback?

As it appears the role is either on hold or not progressing or some other shenanigans I do not see what difference it makes as the role looks like it will not materialise anyway. I will update here for LOL's just for future reference!!

      1. Client is interviewing others. Agent knows this and is keeping you hanging on just in case.

      2. Client has put it on hold. Agent is off doing other things for now.

      3. You didnt get and agent cant be arsed to ring you.

          This. Don't stop applying for roles until you're sat at a desk.

          By the sound of what you've put you should be hassling the agent not the client

            If you didn't hear back in a day or so, odds start to plummet on that role. (Note: I am not saying it has definitely gone, you never know. Chase the agent all you want, but s/he is off dealing with other roles/candidates)

            And just in case, I assume you don't expect actual feedback, you do mean just getting a yes or no answer right?

              Not sure if, as a client, you can rely on the agency. I wonder how many clients ask the agent to please let the contractor know the outcome and/or why but then the agent cant be arsed?

                If your contract is with the agency, you ask the agency.

                  I think you can still link with clients on linkedin if you've not got the role.

                    Updating to say as expected the client ignored me but the agency told me the client closed the role without offering any feedback so its been filled & or cancelled without any further contact from the client! I'd name & shame to save anyone else getting time wasted in future but its subject to an NDA!!!
