Been seeing a lot of this in my own area where contracts are being turned into FTC for around 30k mark or very noticeable drop in rates. For the moment I have a longish term contract (but anything can change as we know). Will be squirreling away as much as possible to shield me from the cold dark days to come....

Saw a role for my skillset in a location not far from current ClientCo recently, for 40% of my current rate?

FTC's are not for us so not so sure why we are getting so upset about them. Don't get me wrong, they are a disgrace and I can't see any good coming from them in the long run but still.... They just aren't for us so nothing really to get all excitable over..'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!
