Been seeing a lot of this in my own area where contracts are being turned into FTC for around 30k mark or very noticeable drop in rates. For the moment I have a longish term contract (but anything can change as we know). Will be squirreling away as much as possible to shield me from the cold dark days to come....

FTC's are not for us so not so sure why we are getting so upset about them. Don't get me wrong, they are a disgrace and I can't see any good coming from them in the long run but still....
