Dear all,
This thread was just brought to my attention and so I thought I would reply to it to clear things up....
At Miura Consulting we develop IT Contractors to be Investment Banking Level Regulatory Consultants...some go onto to specialize in Trading Systems and also in MIFID II.
We have a network of over 500 consultants, have had over 300 consultants through our programmes over the last 12 months and in the region of 120 and of those have gone onto be specialists in MIFID II (we are easily the biggest supplier of skilled MIFID II Contractors to the market at present)...a lot have gone on to work in Tier 1 organisations such as Goldmans, KPMG to name but a few...
Typical contractors would complete either an 8 week or 4 week development programme and then go on to work for Miura as part of our teams developing a range of MIFID II systems or specialising in areas of MIFID II such as Best Execution Policy and reporting, doing MIFID II Client meetings, doing MIFID II Healthchecks with companies, to name but a few...
Some of this work is not paid for...our business model is new and different, and we make no apologies for that...
But our consultants are focused on developing their knowledge and experience - and these are also the consultants that are getting roles, as they are differentiating themselves, through their forward looking attitude, fresh skills, cutting edge experience....simple as that...!!
Some of the consultants also then go on to work on our consultancy engagements, which is well-paid...

Yup, or reviews can be faked. Not saying these guys have done this or course, just saying it can be done very easily...

Well, what a surprise to see this old chestnut resurrected. I haven't lurked here in ages. I did try contacting the company to find out more, but they never responded and it turned out that I didn't need them anyway. It's been a slow market but I agree with cojak, #feenotfree
