Sudden terminating contract (Giving 4 weeks notice)

    Hi,

I have been told that my role no longer require that terminating my contract and asked me to pack all my personal belongings and leave the office. Since that day I have not been at work. I was given 3 months wages as a compensation. my peppermint job and my work permit visa was gone one day and asks me to sign the paper. it says, this agreement needs to review by independent lawyer and sign it. My company is a giant company that I would never expect this would happens

In a couple of months I will get my permanent residency but due to this expecting, I lost chance to apply this right and I booked a flight ticket in Dec but it has to cancelled which I cant get any refund.
In order to continue my visa either finding a job with Visa sponsorship or taking master course to get student visa which I need to do self-funding.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated

Notwithstanding that this site is for contractors, not for permanent (or even "peppermint") employees, and not a helpline for immigration and visa issues...

You were an employee and you were given notice?
    Why were you given notice?
    How long were you employed?
Have you consulted an immigration lawyer?
Did you get the piece of paper review by an independent lawyer?
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

If it's Tier 2 you have 60 days to find another sponsor

Reading the inconsistent English the implication is that the termination was last year, at least pre December so there's been some overstaying.
Looks like a troll post to annoy those of us that don't appreciate the whole bobification via iffy visa's of IT, but it's vaguely possible that it's just a straight forward illegal, in which case I'd be happy to inform some ex colleagues in the Border Agency

The suggestion which you will appreciate the least, but which is the most accurate (and how I'm sure most of us feel) is take a flight home. The work visa system isn't supposed to be abused the way you're trying to.
