What mechanism are they putting in place to ensure that the data is stored and handled correctly?

What secure method of transmission to HMRC are they using?

Qdos view: QDOS on Agency Reporting Requirements

From my reading, Qdos believe that these requirements do not apply to Ltd's - unless I'm being thick.

Makes me think this would turn into another Opt Out argument if you try to resist - "No other contractor has refused.... You'll need to speak to my Director... etc".

None really, it's just a bit cheeky of the agent's to be asking IMO so which way I respond if I get one will generally depend on the mood I am in at the time I get the mail I think.

            WHS

If you have given them the data already they should make it clear it's just to confirm the original data is correct, otherwise they your personal data can just be handed over to anyone including fraudsters.

I think it is related to this - where agencies need to report to HMRC. Lorien are just following this I assume.

They do apply, because the intermediary pays the ltd - and if you used a subcontractor, you'd have to report too.

No. Ltds are out of scope of the Onshore Intermediaries legislation, but they are not out of scope of the parallel reporting requirements.

IPSE members should have a read of the guidance on the main website under the Advice tab

Yeah, I only had a quick glance when I remembered Qdos emailing me that link and didn't get the distinction between ME having to report details vs the details being required by another entity in order to fulfil THEIR requirement to report.

I asked <agency> these questions 5 weeks ago and I haven't received a response yet.

They had the cheek to send me a reminder yesterday.
