Ermm, you're not paying IR35 taxes, are you?Blog? What blog...? -
Not being able to bill sounds like a bad thing to me. You don't get Cap Gemini thinking "Our client's put the project on hold and our consultants can't charge. Brilliant! No IR35!"Comment

AFAIK, unless a break is specified, they can't actually do that?
I'd love a week off - I've got a backlog of private work to do that's fairly critical.Serving religion with the contempt it deserves...Comment

My advice is just look for another contract, ASAP.
Sounds like client money problems.
Effectively they've broken the contract, still when you do jump try and do it diplomatically, but make the new contract your priority.I'm alright JackComment

It is money issues - to demonstrate a reduction in costs in Q3. That has been totally open, in the conversations & emails I have had. I know many other contractors on the sites across the UK have been told the same, but obviously they either don't visit this forum or don't want to admit to their days off!Comment

Now spot the difference between a supplier via procurement and B2B contracts and a BoS contractor via Human Remains. Then work out which one is potentially liable for extra personal taxation just becuase he sort of looks like a part-time employee as opposed to being a free-standing business.Blog? What blog...?Comment
