You can also make a Freedom of Information request to get all your records from the Agent, unless I am mistaken?
you mean SAR, yes. Well funnily enough, when I mentioned SAR to agent yesterday that I would via that be able to extract all communication via him and the screeners/clientco and see exactly what the screeners have on me... think I heard the smell of someone filling their pants and shortly after he vanished after an email saying the assignment offer is withdrawn and it had been nice working with me
Disinstruct the agent, tell them to destroy their records of you, carry out a SAR and get another agent.
Good advice. Firstly, I want the screeners to tell me if they have failed my screening or have been instructed by agent to cease screening as I turned down the offer.
I always found it odd that the screeners had all this power as the agent described. After all, it is not the screeners who make offers or withdraw offers. Agent also admitted the clientco knows nothing about what the screeners and his agency have discussed.

Why did you even mention it to the agent? Talk about telling the Germans when and what Time D-Day is going to be lol. You should have just sent one out of the blue to both the client and agent's data protection manager with no reasons, just a request.

WEIRD SITUATION FOLKS
It's only as weird as you make it. However much you want people to do things, they won't unless they are compelled to by their boss or the law. You will get nothing from these people especially as you have told them in advance what you want.
What role are you applying for? James Bond's M role?
If it was a run of the mill role, like I already said a basic or advanced disclosure would have done, no one can ask for anything else unless it is a secure role and then you would have had to go through SC and the agent would have no influence over that whatsoever.
The situation sounds faintly ridiculous to me, not wierd. And as you won't elaborate any on the specifics /shrug.
Actually, on reflection, there was one role I went for a long time ago with the world's leading currency manufacturer. They understandably wanted the in and out of evrerything; more than they would have gotten with an advanced disclosure and understandably, they went through screeners. Even though their questions and requirements were quite intrusive, the reasons were clear and no right minded person would have any qualms answering them because of the nature of the role and the product the client produces worldwide. Obviously, the role was not able to be covered by SC but all the same was highly secure. So if this is the type of role you were applying for then yes, regardless of the personal nature of questions, you should have been prepared to answer them.

Reason: Poor memory.
Ok, if I do this, are there any rules about not being allowed to be put forward by anyone else immediately? I don't recall having to sign any terms with the agency about that. Clientco prob don't mind who puts me forward.
Agent's emails to screeners will be revealed by screeners SAR... I caught them by surprise.
You would be very naive to think that they won't have covered their tracks by now. You didn;t catch anyone unfortunately. I still don't understand why you are so coy on the role. What was it?

How long have you been a contractor?
You have a contact at clientco, remember, what do they say about agency representation?
Why do you want a contract with this client so bad when they could not care less about you? If they could, your feet would be under the table by now.
