    Looking for a contractor...

Well, it's been a while since I've ventured into these parts!

Here's my ask, I'm looking for....

    A project coordinator
Some techie projects, some not so. No real technical knowledge needed but would be an advantage.
    2-3 days per week
    £250 per day
    6 months duration
Based in Bath, but does not need to be on site for all the days you are working.

Need someone to chase up deadlines and project tasks.
Must have experience in coordinating projects, but qualifications not essential.
Liaise with third parties in the UK, Malaysia, Slovenia.
Needs to be top notch when it comes to organisation and updating interested parties.
A bad workman blames his fools

    EDIT: *tools

    stupid keyboard.

But seriously folks... nothing wrong with £250 / day for a project coordinator role in that part of the world.

I'll do it for £500/week if I never have to go on site. Completely over-qualified for it but it'll keep the wife in handbags for a bit longer.

Yeah? For a generic coder I wouldn't be that surprised but PM surely should attract £300?

                I quite agree.

A Project Coordinator isn't the same as a PM.

                    Exactly.

It's fun to sneer at bad rates, but there's nothing wrong with this at all. And part time contracts are not always easy to find. This could suit someone very nicely.

And while it's also fun to behave badly in the professional forums, we really shouldn't put people off from offering work.
