Hmmm, dunno about this. The three times I have had anything to do with them the agent (a big one) was on a fixed margin, confirmed by both the agent and client. Rate wasn't fantastic though.

I was meaning that my rate was too high for them. The agents seemed happy enough when I quoted but its possible they didn't put me in front of Unilever.

A housemate at uni did a placement year with them. Apparently you're not allowed to talk about Persil Power putting holes in clothes.

Usual sort of places. Permies there for years, very nine to five and lots of dead wood. Of course accenture and some other outsources are in there big time as well.

Yes, Reed and Parity are on the PSL. Reed rates are appalling.

Yup - I worked at Port Sunlight. The people there are generally easy to get on with. Again, it depends what area you will be working for. There are a couple of projects and manager which are a complete cluster **** however without knowing what team you will be on, can't say if you'll be exposed to them. What type of work will you be doing? Will you be working for a small consultancy?

I applied for a gig there last year through Parity but the role was canned. The rate was a bit on the low side for a global company of that nature IMHO.

I've known some people who have worked for the company in Marketing and they seemed to like it.
