    Turning into a joke now:

Boris Johnson and European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen look set to meet in person this week in a bid to break the stalemate in post-Brexit trade deal talks.
The Prime Minister and von der Leyen spoke on the telephone on Monday evening, and agreed to ask their chief negotiators to prepare an overview of the “remaining differences”.
The leaders will then discuss them in person in a physical meeting in Brussels “in the coming days”.
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

maybe, just maybe, the idiot will use this to triumphantly return from Europe with a deal.

"I have in my hand a piece of paper." or somesuch.

Like Thatcher did when she got the rebate (except that was a good deal for the UK).

This has a very contrived/unreal feel to it.

I always thought a deal would be left to the very last minute, so there wasn't much time for anyone to read the small print or argue the toss.

The best time to reach an agreement would be a couple of days before Parliament breaks for Xmas.
Scoots still says that Apr 2020 didn't mark the start of a new stock bull market.

Any deal will be passed through parliament as Labour will not stand against it.
The question BlobJob has to consider is whether the ERG will shaft him for it. Those potatoes want no-deal.
