You might want to look at the chart on that page
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Indeed and 2000 years ago 1 rock was worth 3 sticks and an animal skin.

I know it has gone down since 2016 but as we all agreed at the time it was too high.

But you do understand that considering recent events this is good news yes?

I don't remember us all agreeing it was too high. In fact at 1.31 it had dropped quite a bit from its high in 2015 of 1.44.

In 2000, the Euro was not legal tender. Perhaps you can tell us the exchange rate in 1972 or 1945...

            Who cares?

Strong pound is good for imports, weak pound is good for exports.

Yes but when it gets too weak no-one wants to deal in pounds anymore and everything should be converted in USD first like in other 3d world countries

Pound strong? Or Euro / Dollar weaker?

Compare each against gold for clarity - definitely a case of weaker dollar with the GBP / Euro pair showing less weakness against gold.

The only weakness I see appears to be your grasp on reality...
