Sounds like you're living in fear of what might be, rather than taking it as and when/if it happens.
Nick Clegg said it was a "dangerous fantasy" and "simply not true" on one of the live tv debates. It worries me immensely, in that it could significantly weaken NATO. Admittedly on that point, I am in fear of what might be, but IMO with some justification. France and Germany want it to happen, and when they are in agreement about something, it does generally make it more, rather than less likely to happen.
Opt-outs and vetoes are worth what the EU decide they are worth. They were obtained in negotiations when the EU wanted something in return, but if the rules change at any time they could become worth less. Or indeed worthless. The PM may (no pun intended) have to sacrifice something along those lines to get her precious extension, and save her political skin. She may be rather too willing to do that.

At which point you would walk a referendum on a specific version of leave, rather than the unworkable all-the-unicorns hotchpotch you have now. Those vetoes mean a lot right now and give GB the best deal in the whole EU. Which is more than can be said for any current version of leaving. Just ask the disgraced former defense minister.

Which is why we should be talking about the future (e.g. EFTA) but the EU says we can't. Which is quite clever of them, because it looks like the future is isolation, when it needn't be.

After what's happened in the last 3 years, I doubt that anything we say will ever be taken seriously again. Not that they ever listened when we proposed reforming the CAP and CFP.

I'm calling the people the Indy polled stupid. I'm sure they were specially selected to give yes answers to those utterly ridiculous questions. The Indy is a rag of the lowest order, and yet, Remainers post links to it every day I'd say that makes Remainers stupid.

                The CAP has been reformed.

That’s a distinct possibility. But if we’re not taken seriously by the EU, why would we be taken seriously by prospective trading partners such as China, the USA, India, etc.

Is that why there’s an entire section on the history of CAP reforms in Wikipedia?

Reading this reaffirms my going 'short' position on the UK housing market when the right-wing loons want to take the country back to 1819. Them prices will do me nicely Although I don't know if I have any shillings.

That just shows how deep the conspiracy runs.
