They are a great source of organ donations. Soon it will be the first sunny spring weekend of the year when all the gammon faced bikers go for their first tour of the season and many of them die in accidents. Also known as organ harvest day in hosptitals.

Yup same in America - normally after a hot period you then get that light drizzle which does not wash any of the dust/oil off the road just makes it into a skid pan.

            Watch the organs roll in.

But I do not think that people should die just because they ride a motorbike...

I don't wish ill on anyone, but I'm sorely tempted to make an exception in your case.

Why? I'm just stating facts and you wish ill upon me. I know understanding facts is difficult for you being a brexidiot and all

Both my 73 GT6's simple to maintain, limited electrics to sort (only 4 fuses, each 30Amp) No power assisted steering, no electric windows, no central locking (unless its done on the inside I which case I can reach both door locks from the drivers seat), although the next investment might be a LED headlight conversion (there are some good bits to modern motoring technology) so I can at least see the road ahead in the dark.
Modern classics, which all the various sensors are going to be more difficult to keep running 40 to 50 years down the line, but there is lots of nice modern classics out there that would be fun in a speed restricted future.

Good point regarding modern/future classics and long term spare parts issue, particularly complicated electronic sensors and control units on limited run cars that don't already have millions of donor vehicles waiting to be scrapped in the future.

One solution would be to start storing such items now while they are available relatively cheaply then sell on at a large profit as the spares become ever more rare.
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down. Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.

"Bikers are scum" isn't a fact. "You are a complete idiot”, however, is a fact.

Road safety: UK set to adopt vehicle speed limiters - BBC News

Speed limiting technology looks set to become mandatory for all vehicles sold in Europe from 2022, after new rules were provisionally agreed by the EU.

The Department for Transport said the system would also apply in the UK, despite Brexit.
