The People’s Vote insisted the march was one of the biggest in British history.
A spokesman said: "Our estimate is based on professional expert advice and whatever the exact number, there can be no doubt that this ranks as one of the greatest protests - possibly the biggest ever – that this country has ever seen.
"We have no doubt that this march is bigger than the last with our early estimate putting the size of the crowd at around 1 million."
But Tory MP Peter Bone claimed the turnout figures for the event is likely to be wrong. He said: "I'm not really sure it can be called a People's March - it's hardly a march and more of a social gathering.
"I very much doubt the turnout figure is correct given they got their numbers wrong before.
"There were 17.4 million people who voted to leave the EU, so the protesters don't represent the country as a whole."
That will show the traitorous scum in Westminster!

And brexiters wonder why they can't get the remainers on side and to convince them that leaving the EU is a good idea. They have nothing positive to say

Never got that far - just read the story about remainers being so embarrassed that someone had made up a tulip nursery rhyme.
I think that was the point a number of people suddenly realised just how child like the remainers mindset was.
Maybe you could make us up a funny rhyme about not leaving the EU?
You can read it to the class after your lunchtime nap so long as you eat your greens and don't soil yourself.

Indeed. CUK's very own swivvled eyed loony. He used to make some kind of sense every now and then. Sad really. Strange the he should dissolve into a pit of bitterness - considering he "won"... I wonder if he'll ever get over it?
