Leadsom: What Brexit game is EU playing?

What Brexit game is EU playing? British parliament leader Leadsom asks

They are sticking to the deal your great leader negotiated with them, you idiot!

Honestly, anyone would think the EU forced the withdrawal agreement on us.

We are being led by fookwits.

The EUSSR is making its final bluff before it folds. The UK holds all the cards.

We just have to stick to no deal walk away, suggest slashing all tariffs to non EU countries and have a 5 year period with zero percent corporation tax.

EU will tulip its pants and fold.

Then reestablish British rule in Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Minorca, Calais, Dunkirk, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Heligoland.

The people who shout for a 'WTO Rules' brexit seem unable to comprehend that the second part of 'WTO Rules' is 'Rules' which the UK has to follow and didn't make

The EU will cave at the last minute as the UK holds all the cards.

Well, you’re living up to your moniker here. We can’t slash tariffs selectively on a country basis.

0% corp tax is an interesting one. While do-able (corp tax receipts are only a small part of the overall tax take), it would set us on a course to being an international tax haven / international pariah (take your pick). Drawing the world’s biggest companies to the U.K. through 0% taxation might benefit employment, but wouldn’t do much for our international relations in the companies’ home countries (eg USA, China, EU) that would now be missing out on those tax receipts.

Do you really think they'd keep dividend tax at the current levels of they slash down corp tax?

And staying in the EU would have led us where?
