European Parliament Sets out its Vision
Old Greg - In search of acceptance since Mar 2007. Hoping each leap will be his last. -
So the European parliament has a vision and that's good reason to get out of it??
The UK parliament has no vision whatsoever and that's better?? -

Sadly goes against the UK's vision of the future of the EU
Freeze Turkey’s accession
PARLIAMENT’S VIEWSRecalls its position from November 2016 to freeze the accession process with Turkey (Resolution of 6 July 2017 onthe 2016 Commission Report on Turkey (2016/2308(INI)).
STATE OF THE UNION - JUNCKERRules out accession of Turkey for the foreseeablefuture, due to infringements of rule of law, justiceand fundamental rights - although the hands of theEU remain outstretched to the Turkish people
INITIATIVE FOR EUROPE - MACRONClearly states that Turkey does not yet fulfil therequirements for accession.
Some of the subjects in there have changed as the document dates back to 2017“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment
