EU rejects time-limited backstop

Which means when Parliament gets tied in knots with the deal, which it hasn't even begun to negotiate, that effectively the UK stays in the EU unless there is a deal which the EU will drag out indefinitely.

I thought there was going to be BRINO, but it's worse than that, BRINO will become a distant unachievable dream, bucket of vomit whatever you want to call it; it will be indefinite membership of the EU.

That's an awfully long-winded way to say you have no idea what the end-state of affairs will be isn't it?

It's simply a long winded way of saying it could be anything between interminable membership of the EU as a vassal state or Chequers (bucket of vomit).

Sorry, I don't even try to keep up with what you think the end-state will be, as it's changed quite a bit over time and you keep getting it wrong.

The end state is BRINO, always has been always will be. I've never suggested that the end state will be Canada plus or no deal.
