Percentage of the electorate who voted? No. 1992 had a bigger turnout, as did some in the 1950s.
And which Referendums were those, or are you just trying to twist the facts again because you have lost the argument?

The other poster said it was the “biggest vote”, not “the biggest referendum turnout”, not “the biggest percentage”, etc.
The phrase was “the biggest vote”

So, please explain why you are trying to twist the facts again because you have lost the argument.

Well that is BOUND to have a massive impact.

Were you at the pro-Brexit march in Manchester?

The Manchester Evening News reported “a few dozen”. Is it the biggest march ever, in your eyes?

          We don't require a pro-Brexit march.

The "people" made their views abundantly clear over 2 years ago.

Not our fault that simpletons like you are taking so long to adjust to democratic reality.

Desperately resorting to hairsplitting over semantics. Truly the last refuge of the perennial loser.

Keep it up though, it is highly amusing.

Meanwhile the real world just ticks on leaving luddites like you sidelined in your whiney cocoons.

You’re the one desperately resorting to hairsplitting over semantics. Typical Little Englander.

Did I add any word into the quote? No.
Did the word you added in significantly change the quote? Yes.

Who is changing the meaning of things to suit them?

Very poor show considering so many Leavers have free bus passes.

Yeah, because you've taken all of the above points to pieces and have given a coherent sensible reposte..

                  Oh wait...

                    Population of the UK?
Is it because the population is increasing that there are more voters? In 1971 the total population was 56 million. It’s increased by 10 million since then.
In 1971 the average life expectancy in the UK was 72. It’s now 81. Around 6 million people in the UK fall into that age range.
                    Hi WTFH,

I am going with biggest in terms of total populous turnout ever. Happy to be corrected though.

At least you are attempting to engage.

Here's a WIKI link for your delectation:

Referendums in the United Kingdom - Wikipedia

You'll see that it is the biggest voter turn out when you look at those registered to vote, i.e. 72.11%.

Considerably bigger than when we went in 1975.

                    Enjoy.
