So much for "secret" then...His heart is in the right place - shame we can't say the same about his brain... -
It was secret 6 months ago, now they are testing public opinion about it and the crowds with pitchforks in London will love it...Originally posted by Mordac View PostSo much for "secret" then...Comment

But the people's vote, you know, the one held in Jun of 2016, was the biggest one in this country's history.Originally posted by AtW View PostI think this was biggest demo since protests against war in Iraq - this is before hard Brexit hit proper, so I reckon we will see far bigger demos very soon, probably won’t disperse until whoever is in No 19 at the time swears in blood that there will be 2nd referendum

Biggest vote in Britain's history, clearly stated the choices on the ballot paper.
BTW come 2019 Britain will already have been in the EU for 46 years.
The British people gave it a chance and rejected it, carry on demonstrating though won't you if it makes you feel any better.Comment

“Biggest” based on what?Originally posted by bulltraderpt View Post
Biggest vote in Britain's history
Percentage of the electorate who voted? No. 1992 had a bigger turnout, as did some in the 1950s.
Population of the UK?
Is it because the population is increasing that there are more voters? In 1971 the total population was 56 million. It’s increased by 10 million since then.
In 1971 the average life expectancy in the UK was 72. It’s now 81. Around 6 million people in the UK fall into that age range.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Ah yes....the older wiser ones. The overwhelming majority of whom had been "enduring" the EU for the longest, and the overwhelming majority of whom voted to LEAVE!!Originally posted by WTFH View PostIn 1971 the average life expectancy in the UK was 72.
