It's going to happen when sterling collapses due to inward investment falling and the massive debt being unable to be serviced - will take a while but in our lifetimes.

So London being top of the world list for non-UK inward investment is a mere fantasy then?

I should ask the doctor to check your prescription...

          Can’t wait!

Removing major currency risk (and conversion costs) is great for business (and thus jobs)

Joining euro is inevitability, only question is how many zeroes will be on the lowest Sterling banknote at the time of joining...

The day that loonies voted for Brexit was the day the UK lost its sovereignty. The UK held on to what little influence it had because of EU membership.

I would not be surprised if next year, despite the UK having left the EU, the UK will be asking the EU for bailout loans to keep the GBP from sinking further.

That is indeed the ultimate irony.
They haven't figured it out yet, though.
                  They will.

Indeed, France got 50 billion of inward investment in 2017, UK got 15 billion, in the past the UK always beat France for FDI. Doesn't look good,
                    I'm alright Jack
