The good news is that we will no longer be paying the EU tariff on imported wine from New Zealand. That will save us about £0.20 per bottle. (Current tariff is €32 per 100 litres)
This is possibly going to be dropped in the next couple of years for the EU due to negotiations on the EU-NZ FTA, which started last month.
The bad news is that until the UK negotiate a deal with NZ, then the WTO tariff on imported wine is... £0.20 per bottle (approx). The WTO rate is identical to the EU rate.
Net effect: 0.
