Then, can you answer my questions - they're reasonably simple, straightforward & should be quick to answer?
For the record; I'm not a Trump-lover, I'm just not a Trump-hater like you. I'm also neither an Obama-lover, nor an Obama-hater.
(Both have had good and bad policies)

Zero is less than 1, as your article points out. Obama introduced zero tariffs on EU-US trade. Should you wish to change your comments to say that this thread and your earlier post do no specifically mention EU-US trade, then you’d better start editing.
I’m not an Obama lover, but unlike some I do not believe that everything Trump does is perfect and that everything Obama did was bad.

Since you won't even give the common courtesy of simple replies to simple questions (even though I've done that for your questions to me), I'll try and fill in the blanks*
*please note, this is NOT an attempt by me to 'put words in your mouth' - but you're being evasive.
1.Did Obama (and/or USA whilst Obama was president) ever try and do a trade deal with the EU, e.g. TPIP ?
- YES
2.Did it get approved/ratified/agreed by both sides?
- NO
3.Did Obama 'need' to do this deal, due to a tariffs backfire also?
-NO
So, the outstanding queries are;
4.If 'No' to the above, why was he doing a deal at all?
5.Can't Trump be doing a deal for the same reasons as Obama tried, rather than due to your premises?
6.IF this new deal is ratified, would Trump have been more successful than Obama, wrt an EU-USA trade deal?
What & why do I need to edit anything - our last 2 posts have only resolved query #3....?
I would simply like your responses to the questions, but you seem reluctant to provide them.

Fair enough, I shall only call you as such, when you call me Trump-lover, in the future - now that we've made our positions clear.

Let’s see, you’ve gone from “Obama introduced tariffs with the EU” to “Obama had talks about a trade deal with the EU” and you seem to think those things are equal.
I asked you how many tariffs Obama had introduced and you replied with “he tried to do a trade deal”
If I’d said “how many apples have I got in my hand?” And you replied with “no oranges” your reply may be perfectly valid, but it’s avoiding the question. Then you turn round and say I’m avoiding yours.
Perhaps you might want to find out if Trump’s talks about a trade deal are a continuation of those started in 2013, or something completely different.

Eh? I asked you some questions, for example asking if TPIP was due to any tariff backfire and the answer is/was NO. Due to no tariffs being placed on the EU by Obama, so query #3 was resolved.

Actually I directly responded to your question with a simple answer, 1 - I've bolded it below to make it easier for you.

Which explicit question you have asked me (and in what post #), do you think I have avoided?

You are avoiding (some of) my questions - as you haven't provided simple answers to the following outstanding queries;
4. If 'No' to the above, why was he doing a deal at all?
5. Can't Trump be doing a deal for the same reasons as Obama tried, rather than due to your premises?

Perhaps, I will, but that's immaterial, for now.

OK, explain how Trump’s tariffs are such a blazing success - he’s announced a bail out of his rural supporters of $12billion in emergency aid to cover their loss of business due to his tariffs he introduced with China.
But giving money to farmers is emergency aid, not socialism, unlike healthcare, etc, where government handouts are evil left wing commie Russian ideas. (Apart from we can’t call them Russian, because Russia is the Republican party’s friend. They are the good guys)
Juncker tamed Trump in one 3 hour meeting. Can't imagine the current shower of sh*t in Whitehall doing anything other than make a complete pig's ear of any trade deal they attempt to negotiate.
