Now you're really digging. Why don't you answer WTFH's question?
    Hard Brexit now!

I was using a technical definition and you were using a sloppy one. That is ok.

You were frantically searching without understanding. If you’d understood, you wouldn’t have made a point about correctness (there was indeed irony, only of a different origin than you’d hoped ), rather about precision, which would’ve made you look silly too, incidentally. But that’s fine, I forgive you.

Why would I search frantically when I studied linguistics at university? I know exactly what the correct meanings are of homonym, homophone and homograph.

We're not in "general" so all the usual rules go out the window. HTH...

Yes we are. Brexit is a Sub-forum of General.
If General is the bathroom of the forum, Brexit is the toilet pan.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

                  Glad you could drop in...
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Oh dear! Last time you had this much egg on your face was when you predicted an 80-seat majority for Theresa May at the last election
And the quest to find an intelligent Brexiter continues .....
