We can debate whether or not Brexit is the stupidest thing any country has ever voted for until the cows come home, but fact is you have to be an imbecile not to see the direction of travel here. There's been almost no real progress in 2 years towards a final outcome. The economy has gone backwards hugely (not left yet) and will only get worse.

I wouldn’t quite go that far - A50 has been triggered, and unless it is revoked we will be exiting the EU in March 2019 with or without a withdrawal agreement.

The A50 deadline can be extended with unanimous agreement of the EU27, which they may do if an agreement is reached by, say, March and we only need more time to put it to Parliament or the people for approval. If we ask to extend A50 because we still haven’t got agreement in our own government then the answer is likely to be nein/non/no. Hard Brexit or revoke.

Revoking A50 without some form of mandate (say, a general election before March run on a “exit Brexit” platform) would destroy the Conservatives. Not going to happen, even asking for that mandate would split them and waste another 6 months of them arguing between themselves.
