I've come to the conclusion that I was wrong, I thought Switzerland would be closer to where the UK would end up with at least a token distance from the EU, but it's increasingly clear that the UK will in effect be full members of the EU with some changes to the syntax rather than semantics.

Doesn't look too good but you have to remember, this is by experts and the Leave campaign doesn't believe in experts so it's all fake news.
This week it was revealed that the UK economy grew by 0.5% in the final quarter of 2018, and because this was marginally better than the even more woeful prediction of 0.4% the hard-right Daily Express ran a front page story declaring that "the Brexit Boom is here"!
Never mind the fact that 0.5% growth actually makes the UK the second slowest growing economy in the entire developed world, or that the UK is projected to suffer the worst negative wage growth rate anywhere in Europe this year ... Britain is booming, the Daily Express told me so.
