EHIC is the European Health Insurance Card, nothing to do with the right to set up a business

        I know that.

        It's two separate agreements.

EHIC will continue for UK citizens in the EU and for the EU27 in the UK

UK citizens can start and manage businesses within their country of residence and EU27 citizens can start and manage businesses within the UK.

... of course they are only "little" things compared to the NI border.

But I am of the opinion that all progress is good, and that agreements in one area lead to agreements in another.

It's a bit like negotiating for a job and disagreeing on salary, holidays and working times but agreeing on using the front door of the office block to access your desk.

          I'm alright Jack

            It's absolutely nothing like that.

In a year of bad BREXIT analogies ( it's a golf club, its a bar, its a meal at a restaurant, it's a crime syndicate .... no, no it isn't ).

            That is the worst.

If you are negotiating a job you are actually joining something. BREXIT is an Exit ( the clue is in the name ).

You could have said something like :

"It's like resigning from a job, keeping some of the stationary, but not agreeing on the severance payment".

But even that is bad. Because you don't resign from a job and continue to pay into the budget.

In fact, it's not even remotely like a job as nobody takes a job where they have to pay more money in each year than they get paid back.

I wish you remainers would start thinking creatively and taking your analogies more seriously.

Don't hold your breath. They have the combined intellect of a box of Corn Flakes, although it does rise a tad when sas does one of his flounces!

Its a divorce with a crazy ex that after 30 years of you paying for everything , is busy chopping up your suits, refuses to let you date new people or use any of the joint assets, demands ridiculous money in Alimony (no kids) and refuses to discuss anything further until you agree to all their demands.

Still works! But that is a Brexiteer analogy.

A likely bremainer analogy is that the EU is a fluffy bunny that racist Brexiters have despoiled!

Interesting you consider it a contract of service!

Why not go for a clean break then?
