Having been to university in the not too distant past and knowing lots of students, university is a very opt-in experience. School is where young people are indoctrinated, university is where they decide whether to live that out or rebel against it.

Actually some of the most vocal Brexiters went to university when students actually striked, had riots, were members of the Communist party and banned Barclays cheques from the student union.

If you talk to some of today's educated young people they want to be in the EU for economic reasons including the fact of the UK economy fecks up they can work abroad with ease.
