    Ouch.

Brexit negotiations: Barnier rules out 'concessions'
Interesting - or you could compare it to say Waterfall v Agile.

I know which one gets the best results.

And I know which one is geared towards making senior management look good, help their mates line their pockets and which delivers limited benefit too late.

Not sure why the EU thinks you cannot talk about things in a non sequential manner - unless they are not very bright.

Order is everything. You cannot possibly discuss trade until the small matter of screwing up peoples lives is first sorted out. What happens to citizens on either side must first be resolved before talking business.

It is alarming the UK wants to talk about money before its citizens living in the EU. No fooks given. Astounding.

You mean UKIP3. UKIP2 are currently running the whole show.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

If you go into a negotiation you want to keep your cards close to your chest.

It suits the UK to keep quiet about what will happen to the EU citizens who live there. While there is uncertainty that can be used as a pillar of negotiation, or a threat. So of course they want to advance the trade talks while remaining non-committal in other areas. It's intuitive.

Those UK citizens who live in Europe- the UK govt doesn't give a toss about you. You won't be repatriated - it's against EU law. You could rip up your passport and claim refugee status in Germany. They cannot evict you from Germany - it would be too reminiscent of ethnic cleansing.

You certainly will, but if they don't make the compromises you will see a further rise in Labour, damned if you do, damned if you don't, the Tories are now in a bad place, a very bad place.

I fully expect a Corbyn government within the next 4 years.

              be afraid, be very afraid

              I'm alright Jack

I'm calling a high water mark on Corbyn. In tax 'top trumps' threatening to pinch, sorry requisition people's property beats 'dementia tax' by a good distance.

People are not pawns on a chessboard. In saying that chess might not be Theresa's forte.

We've covered this one. May offered to guarantee rights from the off, but the EU stick it's nose up.

Of course they are. Politics is all about people.

                      And this is all politics.
