Even French Brexiters are stupid: https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...onal-beaucaire
A rightwing French mayor has named a street in his town “rue de Brexit”, but the joke quickly rebounded on him when it emerged that the thoroughfare in question was a circular road to nowhere.
...
The town council selected for the honour a previously unnamed street located near the rue Robert Schuman and avenue Jean Monnet – both named after founding fathers of the EU.
...
Others commented that the street’s situation between Schuman and Monnet meant that it was leading from Europe back to Europe again.“Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.”Comment

If you pay me enough I will tell the Cypriots to slash regulation of the finance industry to gain business (which is what he did).
Do you think slashing financial regulation to gain business is a good idea?Comment

If any country slashes regulations it will attract business. Not necessarily a good idea. Still, my offer remains, if you pay me enough I will say it to your audience.Comment

So that is why you voted Brexit then?Originally posted by GB9 View PostI thought it was because we were racist xenophobes?

You know why I voted Brexit. I've told you numerous times.Originally posted by Paddy View PostSo that is why you voted Brexit then?
Like most Brexiters, i'm not a racist xenophobe (if you saw the team members I hired you would probably grasp that), nor am I in a rush to deregulate financial services.Comment

They weren't that cheap. Some were UK nationals of Indian descent. A couple were African. A handful of Indian contractors. One of the best developers I've worked with (Polish). And a couple of central Europeans. Plus hundreds of UK nationals of UK descent. All were either in the UK or we made a specific decision to bring them in.Originally posted by darmstadt View PostSo you're part of the problem by hiring cheap immigrant workers
