Sadly for you there are far too many boxes on the form for us to tell you exactly what to write in each on so its going to be a real struggle. Sorry.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

I have many clients that i open companies for and the bank account is not a mandatory requirement, If you have it open then yes put this on the form but it is not compulsory as it can be added at a later date.
Also why use the VAT 1 Form when this process can be done much quicker online through HMRC!Comment

I'm going off SJD as fast as I'm going off Cater Allen. They sent me paper forms to fill in and I went with what they said. Including that they couldn't send the VAT registration off until they'd put the bank details on it.Comment

You or your accountant can register for all HMRC taxes online and then this will mean you can keep up to date with all deadlines and make sure your account is up to date too.
Cater Allen normally open accounts in five working days unless there is an issue that has to be referred on.Comment

The reason I ask is because I started the registration process for the Online Government Gateway to register for taxes (VAT, PAYE) and was asked the UTR because I ticked PAYE.
I've now realised I can register for VAT without the company UTR and when that comes through I can then register for PAYE.
Many thanks for those who replied with helpful messages.Comment

I do have to ask if you have an accountant because they could do all this for you very easily and means you don't have to worry about it.Comment

Couple of key comments from this thread alone that might help the OP.
Remember a good accountant will more than justify there fee in terms of you being tax efficient and the service they offer. As a accountant could do all this for you. Register for VAT and PAYE etc even the Business bank account and Insurance too.You or your accountant can register for all HMRC taxes online and then this will mean you can keep up to date with all deadlines and make sure your account is up to date too.I do have to ask if you have an accountant because they could do all this for you very easily and means you don't have to worry about it.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!Comment

You can apply without a bank account though.Comment
