there were the normal travel expenses and loss of chargeable hours associated with taking the interview but it was the celebration costs that had me annoyed

Maybe learn to only spend money you actually have, until you're getting timesheets signed and invoices paid then your contract is nothing more than vapourware.

i'll now be more careful and vigilant going forward obviously but it is usually seen as common place to celebrate a new role? Probably just me then...

In February, you said that you were coming back from taking three months off, so you've been in the current role for three months, and were going to hand in your notice to take this one.

Or am I misreading your posts?

same company new contract, slightly creepy that you have time to go back and and review previous posts.

So you weren't planning on giving notice on this one then?

People have memories, maybe something in the name sticks in the mind and it takes seconds to do a search.

Plus there are so many sockpuppets and sales trolls that people notice the patterns and the inconsistencies.

It is hardly time consuming to click on your name. It takes less time than writing this post.

You only have 15 posts so hardly surprising. You ought to be grateful that someone took the time.

You can get lots of good advice on here if you ask sensible questions. Surely you must realize that you were only ever going to get 1 reply on this thread?
