'To benefit from the experiences and views of fellow contractors in accounting-related issues.'

..was what I was looking for..

The move would actually be saving the business £'s - rather than paying out travel / hotel accommodation etc for each contract (while based down south) - I would just do straightforward commuting around the London area from the new location?

I'd be cutting the expenses bill by 15k pa.

And if you then get a contract in the south, or are you only going to work in London now?

If you have read the guidance carefully, and understand that this is something which you can do without facing any BIK charges, then claim it. If you haven't, then read it carefully, determine whether this is something you can do without facing any BIK, and then either claim it or not.

Plan to work in the London & surronding areas with definately no plans to work South (or North).

Maybe need to read Hectors fine print again - thanks.

              Nothing to read.

              You simply can't do it.

Podgy, was your last gig (or is it still current?) in London?

Because the accounting and financial advice you get on here is worth precisely what you paid for it (most of the time).
