    Hi Guys,

Why would you want to pay PAYE?

Haven't they been the details for a while?

I know Cumbernauld details, but the companies using Shipley might not.

And they might not know about the change in April (the OP didn't appear to be aware).

Most people operate PAYE with a minimal salary in order to qualify for the NI contributions.

This is correct, from April the Shipley account will be closed and all payments should be made to the Cumbernauld account - this was recently confirmed on HMRC's website: HM Revenue & Customs: How to pay PAYE/Class 1 National Insurance contributions.

The sort code/account number of the existing account are not changing, it's simply the case that they are closing the Shipley account.

Those people paying a minimum salary may still need to make payments to PAYE if they are not on a standard tax code.

            Hope this helps!
