Thankyou! some people on here do my nut in chattin about nixon and sjd, they're obviously all working for them. HAHA. I bin with Danbro a few month and i too agree that they are good. -
If I'm correct - although tell me if I'm wrong - in another thread Danbro seemed to be giving you information in relation to claiming subsistance that was not accurate.
Now they may be good in telling you what you want to hear, but are they actually ensuring that you are doing things correctly ?Cenedl heb iaith, cenedl heb galon

The reason that NW, SJD, Quay etc all get repeated recommendations on here is that they know what they are doing and do it well. If they were crap we wouldnt keep recommending them. If you want to ignore those recommendations and choose someone else that is entirely your perogative but don't expect us to stop doing it whenever someone asks.Originally posted by eddiegee View PostThankyou! some people on here do my nut in chattin about nixon and sjd, they're obviously all working for them. TBH I've not seen much said about Danbro on here before so I have no comments either way on them, hence noting to base a recommendation on."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

I looked at SJD and at Danbro when I started up, based on colleague recommendations. However, I chose someone else due to different circumstances than usual - if my business was straightforward, then I would have gone SJD out of the two, since they gave me more confidence.Originally posted by DaveB View PostTBH I've not seen much said about Danbro on here before so I have no comments either way on them, hence noting to base a recommendation on.
That said, now I'd probably go NW if I was doing it again.Comment

Though, I admire your admission that you know that it's illegal, so at least when HMRC come calling, you are going to get totally f*cked.Last edited by TheFaQQer; 19 September 2007, 08:37.Comment

And if you care to look at this quote ' i understand it's wise to keep most if not all my receipts as i have been told by my accountant several times' You stupid tit. So are they wrong?Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostThat doesn't sound like they are providing the right advice, particularly your last two points, which are plain wrong and fraudulent. the Sub can be claimed without the need to produce the receipt to THE ACCOUNTANT YES?? i understand that HMRC would come 'knocking' as everyone says on here if i didnt have this evidence.
What iam trying to say is Danbro, Sjd NW will give advice to all their clients.. if the client does not take it... whos fault is it?? if i get screwed over a receipt i did not care to keep then i wont blame the accountancy as i have been told. So shut your face you mong.Comment

I dont know how you see that as fraud. If the sub is £26, £50 or £100 etc and you incur that expense then you can claim it and it will not be taxed. Yes it is true that you should have evidence of the expense just incase the tax man does want proof. Its not that difficult to understand.Originally posted by TheFaQQer View PostThat doesn't sound like they are providing the right advice, particularly your last two points, which are plain wrong and fraudulent. The umbrella company have advised that he can claim £26 per day, every day, just for going to work - even if you were allowed to claim for lunch and breakfast it is unlikely to add up to anywhere near £26. The fact is that, if you are going to the same place of work each day, you cannot claim for the cost of meals - just because you spend money on something it doesn't automatically become an expense.Originally posted by gezzagregz View PostI dont know how you see that as fraud.
