They also spend the time to keep abreast of all the changes to legislation allowing me to make the most of any changes that come along. Difficult to quantify but my accountants certainly haven't let me down in a couple of years of changes. All that for £126 a month? That is less than half a day of my time and I am sure accountants hourly rate is a lot more than mine.
I wonder how the OP would feel if the accountant suspended the contract in the month when the end of year accounts are prepared.

Its really annoying to see people like you giving useless response that has nothing to do with the question!
You don’t even try to read the whole post before you start posting your response.

Did you not read the bit that I am a big believer of paying professional to deal with the accounting? or the bit that I am considering switching to new accountant when come back to work in 5 months time?

My accountant never contacts me unless I contact her. It takes them two days to answer one simple question. Just because you have a OK accountant , doesn't mean everyone else does! And stop posting useless response and wasting other people’s time!

If they need to close their company and not to do business no more. they can terminate the contract with all their clients whenever they want. Otherwise, why you think they will do that? Will you suspend your contract with your client for no reason? Will your mobile phone company suddenly stop your contract?

What makes you think the customers and the supplier are equal? what kind of question is this?

YES! show some respect and ONLY response when you really want to help!

I have found many people are here to help others and give useful information. But I have also noticed there are some people in this forum hanging around waiting for new posts, not to give any useful information but to criticize/talk down others. These people are destroying the good atmosphere here.

The OP might have to ask his accountant how to pay.

My FREE advice to those trolls that have nothing else to do but wasting others time : spend less time hiding behind the computers and bullying others online, you may be able to get a normal life.

If you leave your accountant after they do the year-end stuff, that's fine surely since you will have paid for the whole year.
