We wwere denied justice at the supreme court and ECHR will probably not be any different.
It's a big ask for the ECHR to accept a case which was lost at the High Court, lost at the Court of Appeal and even refused permission at the Supreme Court.

However, Montpelier have given it their very best shot by hiring Lord Pannick one of the most eminent HR lawyers in the country to prepare the application.

His name on the application should carry some weight with Strasbourg.

The last laugh is on us though isn't it.

How many of these lot do you think HMRC will ever catch up with? And these are only the tiny percentage of evaders they even know about.

We undertook perfectly legal tax planning and fully declared all our income and look what good it did us.

if only it were true ...

HMRC told the BBC: "HMRC will always pursue the employer for any underpaid tax and national insurance when we find evidence of abuse.

"Where the employer cannot be found, we consider the case on its own merits, but would not generally hold an employee liable for the tax where evidence showed the employee had been misled by the employer."

We were unlucky - if we had known how much AB hated WG we could have planned differently.

BTW - I have not had a montpelier letter for months now - will they ever send another one?
