I meant 90% of ipad users only use them for buggering about on the web and catching up with personal emails while at work.

That's what I use my smartphone mostly for.

Remember HMRC don't classify a smartphone as a phone they classify them as PDAs.

So if your stating that people can't buy an iPad then I can't claim my smartphone line rental through my business. (Which I do as I use it as a phone as well.)

BTW I have now worked with 2 PMs who have made extensive use of iPads in meetings to take notes.

I use mine to study for my certs on the commute to work. Accountant is on board with this and I'm actually using for that reason as well

Quite a few people at work using iPads for taking notes in meetings and checking emails. Seems pretty useful (albeit an expensive notepad!)

Oddly the other people around don't tend to have lots of gadgets - so very few iPads.

I've got an iPad but I paid for it myself, or rather the current mrs stek did, 50th b'day prezzie.

I use it at work tho mostly, ironically to access my personal stuff, so where does that leave me?
