Sorry, but it isn't nonsense. Having worked in this area for some time, the police treat this very seriously.

In all likelihood, Bolshie can probably get away with not declaring it, especially if it is a short contract. But low risk is not zero risk, as most people on this board should (now) know.

Errr - this a a public internet forum. I have the right(nay the obligation) to panic at every opportunity whether the facts warrant it or not.....

i wouldnt be surprised if this is a windup, cant see anything anywhere else about this so where did it come from???

I haven't been able to confirm anything yet but I'll make one observation. (Assuming the story isn't a complete hoax of course.)

Montpelier is a group of a number of separate companies. The fact that one of the companies is ceasing trading doesn't necessarily mean anything.

Wild assumptions are being made on the other thread and as I've pointed out... Assume makes an Ass out of U and Me.

Wait for hard facts before engaging in pointless speculation.

I believe if I am owed more than £750 I can issue winding up proceedings against any company - I seem to remember a contractor doing this a few years ago against A+L.

Maybe someone thinks suing Montp is the way to go and is playing hard ball.

Actually - we are all DOOMED! DOOMED I tell you! DOOMED. And the moon missions were all filmed in a Nevada film studio.

                      Most likely yes.

I would expect that a creditor is playing hard ball and they are liquidating a company in response.

Hopefully this does not mean the group as a whole is shutting up shop and this is merely a restructuring.
