Sorry to hear that Noger.

I'm happier to do my own VAT (the control freak in me). It's a doddle since I started using Quickbooks: reconcile your accounts, hit a few buttons and away ya go..

and with a bit of discipline (and I'm very good at that ) keeping on top of my accounts I can send my year's company accounts to my accountant one week after year-end.
