    Sorry to hear this guys.

If they had £350k cash on their balance sheet last time they reported it really looks as if they have done a runner. If that is the case I hope for their sakes they have run long hard and far. The info provided on this thread to date makes their actions certainly look contrived in which case what have you got to lose by calling in the Police or SOCA? It appears they have run off with your money; that is fraud.

    Good luck.

        me too!

        hi all,

i am in the same boat here too. i have around 3k tied up with them. i have been with them pretty much since they started and they have served me very well up until now, i cannot fault them for the service they have given me over the last 5-6 years. i guess with the tax they have saved me over that time period, it probably compensates for the money they have of mine - still leaves a bad taste in your mouth though!

a bit cheeky to do it a day before the fx run though!

i was talking to a friend about liquidation and they should have appointed an administration company to handle all the payments / assets etc and hold a meeting for the employees / creditors, does any one else know the legal structure for this and how we would find out about it?

nice one mr basra, hope you are reading this from your laptop by the pool with a glass of champagne smoking a big fat cuban cigar...

oh well, you live, you learn...

<cough> If you look at the link that shows the CH details they were already late on something, by only a month but it should be a warning.

I have been trying to call and send them emails but don't have any reply from them.
What are my legal options ? how can I get my money back ?

I am contracting for the 1st time and am really in a fix, all help and advice is much appreciated.
              Just say NO to brollies

Very sorry to hear this but even for a newbie, payment cycles of 1.5 months should have been a red flag.

I hope you manage to get some money back.

Oh, and start your own ltd co asap!

                Yes I have heard too..

I found out on friday from my Agent as a few other contractors had heard too, I haven't had a letter yet, can someone please scan it in and make it downloadable or email me a copy via PM?

There is a yahoo answers page as well, someone had posted up a lot of info including companies house directors searches for each of the directors including home addresses which I took a copy of before someone deleted it....

I just started with them so pretty pissed off about the whole thing but I learned a lesson and I'm grateful I did and will look harder the next time I work with a group like this. Its a gamble/calculated risk you take when working in structures like this that doesn't always work out.

speak to your agency, get your next month split billed and paid out quickly and move on, once we know whats happening with the company worry about it then if you must.

Just get back to work and stop worrying, there is nothing you can do unless you know a private investigator and some goodfella called vince gambino who knows a few people who can make things happen... bad a bing!

Yahoo answers page is here, nothing much more than already is here though....

Has tract management been liquidated? - Yahoo! Answers

Once someone know something we can all do to action some speedy recovery or legal action against them post it up here...

Write2vin.... I'm sorry to hear this. 45 days?? When were they supposed to have paid you? TractManagement have not notified companies house of any liquidation. They have 14 days in which to do this and are currently still showing as up-and-running on the companies house website.Once this is done, the liquidators assigned to manage this should be available for contact. I definitely think that there is strength in numbers and so a single voice to represent anyone who has been affected by this should be nominated, although I guess the likelihood of that happening is slim as everyone here is most likely going to want to pick up the phone and put in their own claim straight away. Either way, the liquidators are the ones to contact and for now unfortunately, it looks as though they haven't yet been instructed. (This is an awful thing to happen on your first contract, so I hope you pick up from this one soon)
