In the past I just copied my old accountatn on invoices, and send an email with expenses, or provided bank statements that was enough for him, but the present one just inundate me with spreadsheets, and on top if I asked for any advise they'll reply with a PDF leaflet that they downloaded from the HMRC, instead of reading the pdf and then summarissing the options to me!
Sorry bit
with them

If you want an accountant who you can give your bank statements and a shoebox full of reciepts to at the end of the year then go local. Still leaves you with PAYE and VAT to consider though...Older and ...well, just older!!Comment

Look on the bright side, at least they are communicating with you. Unlike a certain West Yorkshire based accountant...Originally posted by zamzummim View PostIn the past I just copied my old accountatn on invoices, and send an email with expenses, or provided bank statements that was enough for him, but the present one just inundate me with spreadsheets, and on top if I asked for any advise they'll reply with a PDF leaflet that they downloaded from the HMRC, instead of reading the pdf and then summarissing the options to me!

How do you expect them to fill everything in for you if they don't hassle you? The more you want them to fill in the more they are going to hassle you for the numbers and information to fill in.Originally posted by zamzummim View PostFilling hundreds of forms and spreadhseets every week/month...
Hope you got deep pockets for this all encompassing service you require.'CUK forum personality of 2011 - Winner - Yes really!!!!

Happy to supply the information, in an email or bullet points, not filling forms and spreadsheets that would take hours! All the information they need is supplied, its their bureaucracy of filling the exact forms and the exact boxes so that they don't have to fill it in themselves.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostHow do you expect them to fill everything in for you if they don't hassle you?
