There are no risks. It's a perfect scheme that everyone should be using.

Repeat after me - there are no risks. There are no risks. There are no risks. There are no risks. There are no risks. There are no risks. There are no risks. There are no risks. What is your position then?

What's your companys URL so I can have a look?

As I stated earlier, we're concentrating on moving our existing client base at the moment so aren't open to new applications at the moment.

I didn't say I wanted to apply, I assumed your website might have some more info since you won't post it here.

The problem is the "risk" with these schemes is unquantifiable.

This means it's not safe to spend the money.

And it can take a very long time before it is safe, since there are no statutory time limits on how long HMRC can take to complete an investigation.

In the Montpelier case, HMRC opened enquiries into users' 2001/2 SA returns 5 years before they dreamt up BN66.

I know of people in another scheme whose 2004/5 tax returns are under enquiry, and there is still no sign of closure.

Fills you with confidence, eh? The websites I've looked at previously for these schemes don't even really tell you that you are joining a tax avoidance system. They look pretty much like a regular brolly to me when I've looked at them. Certainly, there is usually nothing that tells you in detail how the scheme works and what the risks are. That's one of the reasons I have no time whatsoever for them.

The new website will be available from April onwards.

Indeed..... no chance of me using one of these schemes.

As someone else said, if it's only going to gain you an extra 6 or 7% (whatever the figure suggested was), to me it's hardly worth the worry of any potential investigation down the line.

                      How the structure works?
•You will be engaged as a self-employed contractor and will agree to supply your services to Contracta
•Contracta will make an onward supply of your services to its clients. In exchange, you will receive a set monthly retainer which you will have to pay NIC and tax on
•Additional income arising will be retained by Contracta and will be paid to a Contractor Trust
•You and your family may apply to the Trust for loans from time to time

And how does this fit in the with the new HMRC view on loans?
