How to pay an overseas contractor/company

I am a contractor operating through my ltd company. Now I am getting a website designed, developed and hosted by an Indian IT freelancer who may or may not have his own registered company. Now how do I pay him?. Has anyone done this before?

    cheers

    Ask him.

If he doesn't know [alarm bells] Either via the hiring website's PayPal account or a Western Union cash transfer.

I am happy to pay him through paypal but how do I account it in my ltd company. Do I have obtain any agreement from him so that the expenses incurred are properly accounted in my ltd company. Do I have to get an invoice or just a receipt?.

Get him to send you an invoice. If your company can't make the payment directly via paypal, bank transfer or whatever, then make the payment yourself, and claim back through expenses.
