    Renew PCG membership?

    Hi

I closed down my LTD company earlier last year (May 2010). I actually went permanent a couple of years before this, but left the company and business account open for a while in case I went contracting again.

My PCG membership is up for renewal in a few days. Is it worth renewing? Do they ever investigate companies that are now closed?

No expert but pretty unusual as I understand it. Unless you used some major avoidance scam that might make it worth their while.

They aren't ilkley to investigate a closed company. At least, not a little one and only if they suspect you of some larger fraud.

General advice is to hang on to PCG membership until the year after you get out, just in case someone is being over-zealous.
